Questions

Does refDrop take a cut of my commissions?
No. refDrop never handles money. Clients pay you the way they do now, and you can link your payment page from your boxes.
How much do paid plans cost?
Cloud is $5 a month or $48 a year, and Cloud Plus is $10 a month or $96 a year. Paying yearly saves 20%. Paid plans are not open yet, so nothing can be bought today.
Why one subscription for refDrop and refern?
Billed as refern Cloud: one subscription covers refDrop and the refern web library. Boxes and the web library are separate allowances, so a full library never stops a client upload.
What happens when the beta ends?
The free plan stays. The beta only limits how many artists join for now. The paid plans in the beta are the launch plans, at the same prices.
Does a refern desktop license give me more boxes?
No. A license lets you skip the waitlist and gives you a free refern web library of 1 GB, about 4,000 items. Your boxes follow the free plan.
What happens when a box closes?
Your client can still download everything for 3 months on the free plan, 6 on the paid plans. You both get an email 30 and 7 days before the originals are removed. The box then keeps its image previews and file names as an archive.
Is there a storage limit?
On the free plan, each box holds up to 2 GB, and all your boxes together, open and closed, can hold 25 GB for fair use. That limit only stops new boxes, never an upload into a box you already have.
